Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have fumed following Nuno Espirito Santo’s press conference ahead of the FA Cup replay with Manchester United.
As relayed by Nathan Judah, Wolves’ gaffer shared his thoughts on January being ‘not the best time’ to sign new players, which sparked fury among the Molineux faithful.
Nuno: Haven’t got enough on the bench
We’re working on it,hopefully we are closer
Jan window not the best time, players you target are not available, it’s a tough moment
Confident there will be new players
Lemar -Don’t speak about players not in squad
I know how many I want #wwfc pic.twitter.com/n3SllPt0dh— Nathan Judah (@NathanJudah) January 14, 2020
That’s why the lack of good business done last Summer was such a hindrance. Hard to fix it in January.

How many signings do you realistically believe Wolves will make this month?01-23-45+ |
Wolves have had only one transfer dealing in the first-team so far this transfer window, with back-up striker Patrick Cutrone sealing an exit to Fiorentina on an 18-month loan deal (as per Wolves).
However, despite Nuno Santo stating that the club is ‘working on it’ fans continued their frustration over the club’s dealings during the winter window.
Can’t believe they would have let Cutrone leave without having a replacement lined up.

Most vocal Nuno has been at Wolves on needing signings. Dangerous game the club are playing if Nuno feels they are not giving him what he needs to succeed.

What do we think?
It does seem to be a growing concern among supporters over the little that appears to have been done in the transfer window so far by the Old Gold.
With many fans also alluding to the fact that they feel the club’s gaffer is perhaps as frustrated as they are, supporters may not be the only ones hoping that something happens quickly.
