Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have fumed over news relayed by Tim Spiers on the FA Cup fourth round.
After Tranmere Rovers’ clash with Watford was postponed last night (as per Tranmere Rovers), the fixture has been re-arranged for three days prior to the fourth round tie (via Tim Spiers), which had fans fuming.
If Wolves win tomorrow they won't know their opponents until just three days before the 4th round tie… #wwfc https://t.co/migsXOfuJZ

Helps if I read the statement…. So are the police at both stadium happy with that? They normally need a week’s notice as I understand it….

Would it be better if Wolves were knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United?Yes, can put our focus elsewhereNo, we should go all out for it |
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will only face the prospect of not knowing their fourth-round opponent until three days prior to the clash should they defeat Manchester United this evening (as per Sky Sports).
However, while most supporters were frustrated over the news that the Athletic journalist had relayed to them, one had a cunning plan which would be a way around the scheduling.
Let’s just lose tomorrow it will be easier.

What do we think?
The fact that Watford could now face four games in nine days, if they defeat Tranmere, due to fixture congestion (as per BBC), almost beggars belief.
It also, as many fans suggested, makes it a logistical nightmare for the Old Gold to organise, which understandably has frustrated supporters.
