Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers were delighted to see Jorge Mendes in attendance at last night’s FA Cup tie with Manchester United.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the Portuguese super-agent was in attendance at Old Trafford as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side crashed to a 1-0 defeat (via Talking Wolves), which had supporters asking for his help.

Following the departures of Patrick Cutrone and Rafa Mir in the space of a week, supporters are desperate for the club to sign reinforcements to strengthen the squad ahead of the second half of the season.

With Mendes having had a number of involvements in Wolves’ signings in the past (as per The Guardian), many speculated as to who his attendance could mean was on their way to Molineux.

What do we think?

Sadly for supporters of Wolves, the likelihood of Mendes’ attendance at the game is for the other side, with Bruno Fernandes looking likely to sign for Manchester United (as per The Mirror).

However, there could be more than one deal going on in the mind of the super-agent, only a select few will know if he has a hand in any of the Old Gold’s upcoming incomings.
