Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have shown their love after quotes from former player, Danny Batth, were relayed by Tim Spiers.
Following Stoke City’s 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion, the former Wolves man admitted that the win over the Baggies was extra special due to his connections to the Old Gold (via Tim Spiers), which fans loved.
– "With your Wolves connections was it extra special to win at West Brom?"
– "Yeah it was."

I’m a lifelong Wolves fan but have my Uncles funeral on Weds who was a big Stoke City fan so this put a smile on my face especially as it involved a former Wolf.

Touch of class too. Ben Foster should take note.

Do you believe that Danny Batth could still do a job for the Old Gold? No, he's not quite good enoughYes, would be a solid pair of hands |
During his time with the Old Gold, the 29-year-old Englishman featured in 212 games, during which he scored 16 goals and provided four assists for teammates (as per Transfermarkt).
However, his time with the club would come to an end in January 2019, with a £3-million move to the Potters (per BBC), although many Wolves fans retained respect for their former centre-back.
Very classy interview. Doubt you’ll see a tweet/any social media posts from him highlighting this victory either……

What do we think?
Despite departing the club around a year ago, it is clear to see that Batth still has quite an affinity for the Old Gold after being at Molineux for around ten years (as per Transfermarkt).
It is also good to see that the Molineux faithful also have mutual respect for their former centre-back after a lengthy number of years’ service to the club.
