Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers were left concerned following the injury news on Ruben Vinagre that was relayed by Tim Spiers.
Following the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United, the Athletic reporter for the Old Gold explained that the Portuguese full-back ‘hobbled away from Old Trafford’ with ‘heavy strapping around his hamstring’ (per Tim Spiers), which had fans concerned.
Ruben Vinagre hobbled away from Old Trafford last night with heavy strapping around his hamstring. Wolves fear his absence may be a lengthy one (timeframe TBC) and have recalled Ryan Giles, who's played 25 times on loan with Shrewsbury this season.

Absolutely brilliant, what a mess we are now in, if the board don’t get anyone in now….

3 signings needed before the Liverpool game. If we get beat on Sat and get thumped by Liverpool it will send me under!

How many players do you honestly believe that Wolves will sign before the end of the window?01-23-45+ |
So far this season, the 20-year-old defender has featured in 22 games in all competitions for the Old Gold, during which he has bagged two goals (as per Transfermarkt).
With Nuno Espirito Santo himself claiming that Wolves need new signings in “ASAP” (per Express and Star), fans were disappointed to see the squad thinned further with a potential injury.
Get your boots Timothy! Looks like you’ll be needed in battle!

What do we think?
While the Wolves squad is being stretched incredibly thinly (per Express and Star), they are still performing well in the Premier League sitting in seventh (as per BBC).
As Nuno Santo has stated himself, however, the Old Gold are in dire need of some new faces at Molineux during this transfer window, especially following the departures of Rafa Mir and Patrick Cutrone.
