Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have fumed over the loan departure of Rafa Mir, who joined SD Huesca.
On Tuesday, the Old Gold announced, via their official Twitter page, that the Spaniard has joined the Segunda Division club on an 18-month loan deal (as per Wolves), which has supporters fuming.
Rafa Mir has joined @SDHuesca on an 18-month loan.
Good luck, @RafaMir33.

Why not just get rid, loaning him clearly isn’t helping

You were supposed to sign a striker not let one go pic.twitter.com/3KGNM5c4km

Should Wolves have kept Rafa Mir as a backup to Raul Jimenez?Yes, the squad is far too thinNo, really not good enough |
Mir had spent the first half of the season on loan with Nottingham Forest in the Championship, however, that was cut short following just two assists and no goals in 13 league and cup outings (as per Transfermarkt).
The main cause for concern for supporters appeared to be that the 22-year-old is the second striker to depart on an 18-month loan in the space of a week (per BBC), leaving the squad thin upfront (per Transfermarkt).

What do we think?
Having only played four games for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side following his arrival from Valencia (per Transfermarkt), it is clear that Mir just is not up to the standard for the Old Gold.
However, having only one out and out striker in the squad is clearly a major cause for concern among supporters which needs to be addressed by the club sharpish.
