Another striker that relies upon service that we won’t provide – great! We need a forward with pace, how hard is that to understand?

Do you believe that West Ham will sign anyone else before the end of the transfer window? No, seems unlikely at this stageYes, I believe we could get one in |
During this season, the 28-year-old forward has featured in 22 games for his La Liga side in all competitions, in which he has scored eight goals and bagged zero assists (as per Transfermarkt).
In terms of an average rating, the Brazilian is on an underwhelming 6.59/10 for the term so far (per WhoScored), however, some fans were keen to pour cold water on this rumour for another reason.

What do we think?
With the 28-year-old’s current market value sitting at £27 million and three-and-a-half years left on his contract (as per Transfermarkt), this one seems undoable without a hefty fee changing hands.
Even if the Hammers were able to secure Willian Jose’s talents for his market value, it is doubtable if he is worth even that when considering his average rating for the season (per WhoScored).
