Supporters of West Ham United were left gutted following a report which suggested that Winston Reid could potentially leave the Hammers this window.
According to Mail Sport, the New Zealand centre-back is a target for MLS clubs Sporting Kansas City and Nashville SC, who @ExWHUemployee has claimed Reid looks set to join one of, which had some fans gutted.
As mentioned on the podcast before it looks likely that Winston Reid will agree a move to the USA ?

I’ll be sorry to see him go, there were games where he was a warrior for us

Good luck to him! Class on his day and a shame his struggled with injuries of late but deserves to get some game time. Hopefully he’ll get some minutes to say goodbye to the fans ??

One fan suggests that Winston Reid is a big earner, which is correct if Spotrac are to be believed, as the defender is apparently the club’s joint-fifth highest earner on £70,000 per week.
Another big earner off the books

Gutted, easily our most solid CB… would be ideal next to Diop. Will be massively missed

Is it the right decision for West Ham to let Winston Reid leave the London Stadium?Yes, it's a shame but he's past itNo, he still offers us something |
Over the duration of his time with the Hammers, the 31-year-old has featured in 223 games, during which he has ten goals and ten assists (as per Transfermarkt).
This season, however, Reid has not made a single appearance for the London club (per Transfermarkt), though, fans were still gutted that the veteran defender looked set to depart the London Stadium.
Winston Reid was a superb player for West Ham over the years. Sad to see how injuries have curtailed his career after being such a consistent and underrated defender for the club. MLS would be a good move for him given the slower paced nature of the games. Sad to see his decline.

Gutted for him injured all this time and not got back on pitch for us Him and Diop would be my ideal 2 centre backs youth and experience!

Good luck to him. Whilst the contract he was given was madness it’s not his fault. Been a true servant to the club & our best defender of the last 10 years.

?????? He’s got to have a testimonial, class for us

What do we think?
As many supporters have alluded to, it is a shame that injuries have plagued the latter stages of Reid’s time with the Hammers, however, having not made an appearance in the Premier League since the 2017/18 season leaves a lot to be desired (as per Transfermarkt).
Hopefully, the centre-back can re-find his best form in MLS and it will work out as a good move for all parties.
