Supporters of West Ham United heavily criticised Manuel Lanzini following the 2-0 Premier League defeat to Liverpool last night.
For his role in the outing, the Argentine midfielder picked up a weak 4/10 rating (as per football.london), which led to many of the Hammers’ supporters to slate the 26-year-old’s performance.
How Lanzini still starts is borderline disgraceful, Moyes needs to open up his eyes and see that he cannot play him into form. Fornals needs to start over him

Lanzini was awful. But we need to have a look at our captain. He was a complete passenger again today

David Moyes keeps banging on about how Lanzini played when he was here two years ago.
Need to take a good hard look at him now David, must be blind if you can’t see how shocking he is. Stop clinging onto the past.

Thought Lanzini was awful. Masuaku wasn’t bad. Needs to improve his passing but he’s not scared to run with the ball

Should West Ham look to sell Manuel Lanzini either this transfer window or in the summer?Yes, he is absolutely terribleNo, he still offers something |
So far this term, West Ham’s Argentinian midfielder has featured in 18 games in all competitions, during which he has zero goals and three assists (as per Transfermarkt).
To add further fuel to West Ham fans’ fires, the attacking middleman has an underwhelming average rating of 6.7/10 for the season (as per WhoScored), leaving many quick to slam Lanzini.
Lanzini can’t start another game if we have any chance of staying up

Lanzini is playing on reputation and not form. Fornals should be feeling hard done by and is being let down by his manager . The young debutant did well and I’d welcome him starting again against Brighton.

Lanzini has been an empty shirt for weeks. It’s one thing defending him but quite another to keep picking him when he’s having poor performance after poor performance.

Lanzini was absolutely useless. As he has been all season.

#WHULIV absolutely disgusted with Lanzini absolute disgrace I hope I never see him again in our shirt
— Danny Whybrow (@Danwhy77) January 29, 2020
Lanzini is actually a donkey now
— Jamie Gray (@TheJamie_Gray) January 29, 2020
Lanzini is stealing a wage off us

What do we think?
As many West Ham fans have stated, Lanzini is no longer playing anywhere near the levels, or getting the same goal involvements return, as he was doing a couple of seasons ago (per Transfermarkt).
With a dreadful 4/10 for the outing against Jurgen Klopp’s Reds (per football.london), it is clear to see where the criticism from supporters is coming from.
