Spurs fans were extremely frustrated to hear that Christian Eriksen could yet stay with the North London club until the end of the season, with Inter reportedly refusing to match Spurs’ asking price.
According to the Independent (via Hotspur Related), the Italian club are currently some way off Spurs’ valuation of the 27-year-old, offering around £10 million, whilst Spurs are holding out for £25 million. If the two clubs can’t agree on an asking price, then Eriksen may well stay at the club until his contract expires in the summer, when he would be free to sign for Inter on a free transfer.
Despite the Danish international confirming his desire to leave the club following Spurs’ defeat in the Champions League final last summer, he has still be utilised fairly regularly this season; making 25 appearances in all competitions for the North London club.

And we would probably still play him every match… This is agonizing

Take the 10m

So is Levy really prepared to get nothing instead of £10m or whatever it actually is? He’s a joke when it comes to transfers, penny wise pound foolish.

Easily better to get 8 mil for Eriksen, than him leaving on a free in the summer. Especially when he hasn’t put in a 9/10 for 2 seasons

These Spurs fans have clearly had enough of the Eriksen transfer saga and want to see him sold this month.
What do we think?
Surely it would be better for Spurs to sell Eriksen this month rather than seeing him leave for nothing at the end of the season. His performances this season have been far from his best; averaging a disappointing 6.68 rating and it is a surprise that the club are holding out for such a significant fee considering his contract situation.
