Spurs fans were delighted to see that Borussia Dortmund striker Paco Alcacer is reportedly keen on a move away from Germany, with many feeling that he would be a perfect addition for the North London club.
According to Sky Germany (as per Sky Sports) (via TranSPURS), the Dortmund man wants to leave following the signing of teenage sensation Erling Haaland, and would reportedly favour a move to the Premier League. The Spanish striker could well be the perfect back-up to Harry Kane, who is expected to endure a spell on the sidelines after a hamstring injury in the loss at Southampton on New Year’s Day.
Alcacer, who joined Dortmund from Barcelona in 2018, has gone on to make 47 appearances for the Bundesliga side; scoring an impressive 26 goals. Despite an excellent goal ratio, the 26-year-old has often been forced to make his appearances from the bench; with just nine starts in all competitions so far this season.
Would Paco Alcacer be a good signing for Spurs?

These Spurs fans clearly feel that Alcacer would be the perfect signing for the club and will be hoping that the club make a move for him during the transfer window.
What do we think?
Alacacer’s goal record speaks for itself and although he is currently valued at £37.8 million, you suspect that Spurs could get him for less after he confirmed that he wants to leave. With Kane injured, the Spanish international could be the perfect man to take over and with the new Champions League ruling now in place, he could also feature for Spurs in their clashes against RB Leipzig.
