Spurs fans were not overly disappointed to hear that Juan Foyth reportedly wants a move away from the club this month.
Foyth’s agent Claudio Curti told Italian news outlet Inter Dipendenza (via Talking THFC) that the defender could leave Spurs this month, saying: “We are evaluating the possibility of going out in the January market. We wait for this week to find clarity with Tottenham.” The 21-year-old has struggled for game time so far this season; making just three starts in all competitions.
Foyth originally signed for Spurs from Estudiantes in 2017 and has gone on to make just 32 appearances in his three years at the club. Despite this, the versatile defender has established himself in the Argentina national side; having made 11 appearances for Lionel Scaloni’s side since his debut in November 2018.

These Spurs fans clearly don’t rate Foyth and are seemingly ready to see him leave the club during this month’s window.
What do we think?
Perhaps Foyth should be sent out on loan, to ensure his development isn’t stifled too much, whilst also ensuring that if the does progress then Spurs don’t lose out on him permanently. He is still only 21-years-old and a fully-fledged international, so you imagine that there would be plenty of interest in the £13.5 million rated man should he truly want to leave the club.
