Spurs fans were delighted to hear that Christian Eriksen has accepted to move to Inter and wants to leave Spurs as soon as possible.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano (via Hotspur Related), the 27-year-old has accepted to join Antonio Conte’s side and wants to join during this month’s transfer window. Romano mentions however, that the two clubs are yet to agree a fee for the former Ajax midfielder, with Inter offering around £10 million, whilst the North London club is demanding closer to £20 million.
Eriksen has been a mainstay in the Spurs side in his seven years at the club; scoring 69 goals and providing 89 assists for the Lilywhites. However, things haven’t gone to plan in recent times, with the Danish international refusing any contract talks with the club, and hinting he was ready for a new challenge.

What do we think?
Eriksen has been a fantastic player for Spurs in his time with the club but his performances so far this season have been far from his best, with the Danish international averaging a disappointing 6.68 rating. It will be interesting to see if the former Ajax man can rediscover some of his best form for an Inter side currently challenging for the Serie A title.
