Spurs fans were delighted to hear that club captain Hugo Lloris has returned to full training after recovering from the elbow injury that has kept him out since October.
The club confirmed on Twitter that the Frenchman was back in full training with the first-team squad and is therefore in contention for a place in Jose Mourinho’s team to face Watford on Saturday. The experienced goalkeeper has been out since injuring his elbow during a 3-0 defeat against Brighton in October, so he is therefore yet to make an appearance under Jose Mourinho.
Spurs originally signed Lloris from Lyon in 2012 and the World-Cup winning keeper has been a mainstay in the side ever since; having made 307 appearances for the North London club. Spurs fans will be hoping that the return of their first-choice keeper will see their defensive record improve, with Mourinho’s side having kept just two clean sheets in the Premier League all season.
Who's the better keeper?
Hugo Lloris
Paulo Gazzaniga
Reaction from Spurs fans to Lloris’ return to training can be seen in the tweets below.

These Spurs fans are clearly delighted to see Lloris back in training and will be hoping to see him back in first-team action in the near future.
What do we think?
It’s great news for Spurs that their club captain is back in full training, as although Paulo Gazzaniga has impressed at times, his recent performances against Chelsea and Norwich suggest that he is perhaps not good enough to be a regular starter.
