Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose is likely to leave the club this month on loan – that’s according to a report from the Evening Standard. The 29-year-old’s future has been up in the air for quite some time now and a move away from North London feels inevitable.
Rose has made just 12 appearances in the Premier League this season, starting just 42% of the clubs 24 fixtures. It’s been quite the fall from grace for a player who, in the eyes of many was beginning to establish himself as one of the countries finest full-backs.
Can Danny Rose ever get back to his best form?
Yes
No
The defender has played over 200 times for the Lilywhites and aside from his ability to form part of a strong defensive unit he has repeatedly displayed the ability to contribute in the attacking third. Rose has scored ten goals and provided 29 assists for his team-mates – further evidencing that fact.

Best news I have heard in ages, he is nothing but an out and out troublemaker, we would do well to get shot of him

What do we think?
It’s clear that the player’s relationship with the supporters has become untenable and the best thing for all parties involved would be for Danny Rose to move on. With his contract set to expire in June 2021 (as per Transfermarkt.co.uk), it now seems likely the player will see out the remainder of it out on loan.
