Spurs fans were delighted to hear that the club have reportedly been offered the chance to sign former Liverpool midfielder Emre Can this month.
According to the Daily Mail, the Juventus midfielder has been offered to Jose Mourinho’s side as a potential signing, but they will face competition from Chelsea and Arsenal should they want to sign the 26-year-old. The German midfielder has struggled for game time for Maurizio Sarri’s side so far this season, making just two starts, so it is no surprise to see him being linked with a move away this month.
Since leaving Liverpool to join Juventus on a free transfer in 2018, Can has failed to really nail down a starting spot in the team; making just 45 appearances for the Old Lady in his two and a half years with the club. Spurs have already confirmed the signing of one midfielder this transfer window, with Gedson Fernandes joining the club on loan from Benfica, but a permanent deal for Can could yet be on the cards should Mourinho be keen on the former Bayer Leverkusen man.
Would Emre Can be a good signing for Spurs?

These Spurs fans would clearly love their club to sign Can this month and will be hoping that Jose Mourinho jumps at the chance to sign the former Liverpool midfielder.
What do we think?
Can has never really got going at Juventus but has plenty of experience in the Premier League from his time with Liverpool; with whom he made 167 appearances; scoring 14 goals. If Mourinho can bring in the £27 million rated man at a cut-price then he could prove to be a good signing for Spurs, especially with fellow midfielder Moussa Sissoko ruled out until April with a knee injury.
