Spurs fans were treated to some images of first-team training on Twitter this week, although many Spurs fans were concerned about an image involving Troy Parrott.
Spurs shared the images of training on Twitter, one of which included the 17-year-old looking to be consoled by Davinson Sanchez. The Republic of Ireland international has made just one substitute Premier League appearance under Jose Mourinho, despite the long-term injury suffered by fellow striker Harry Kane earlier this month.
The 17-year-old caught the eye of Spurs fans when he hit four goals in a 9-2 win for the youth team in the UEFA Youth League and recently made his full debut for the Republic of Ireland in a 3-1 win over New Zealand. However, sightings of the youngster have been few and far between for Spurs fans, with many thinking he deserves a chance in the first-team.
Should Spurs send Parrott out on loan?

Man looks defeated, I think he’s realised he’s going to go on loan. Rightfully so, but has to be demoralising when he could get a shot.

Troy isn’t smiling.

These Spurs fans are clearly upset with the picture of Parrott and will be hoping that he gets a chance in the coming weeks.
What do we think?
If Mourinho isn’t going to use Parrott, then he should send him out on loan to ensure his development isn’t stifled too much. With a host of Championship sides reportedly interested, it is a surprise he is still with the first-team squad.
