Spurs fans have flocked to Christian Eriksen’s tweet in which he says goodbye and thanks the Spurs fans for their support during his time at the club.
The 27-year-old finally completed his move to Inter this week and tweeted out a message to Spurs fans, which has garnered a lot of support from Lilywhites fans. The Danish international made 305 appearances for the North London club after joining from Ajax in 2013 and will be fondly remembered by a lot of Spurs fans for his performances in his time at the club.
Eriksen first confirmed his desire to leave the club last summer, with Spurs fearing that they would lose him on a free transfer at the end of the current season when his old contract would have expired. In Eriksen’s message to Spurs fans, he says: “it has been a pleasure to play at your club and hopefully we meet again in the future.”

These Spurs fans thanked Eriksen for his message and will surely miss the midfielder’s ability in midfield over the next few seasons.
What do we think?
Eriksen was a great player for Spurs in his time at the club; contributing 69 goals and 89 assists in his time at the club. Fortunately for Spurs fans, Giovani Lo Celso has already been confirmed on a permanent deal and will hopefully step up as his replacement.
