Spurs fans reacted to news that Christian Eriksen is closing in on a transfer to Inter, with a deal expected to be concluded in the next few days.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano (via Hotspur Related), talks are ongoing between Eriksen and Inter, with the Danish international expected to officially join Antonio Conte’s side in the next few days. It looks to be the end of a long transfer saga involving Eriksen, which began in the summer when he revealed his intentions to leave the North London club.
The creative midfielder joined Spurs from Ajax in 2013 and has gone on to make 303 appearances in nearly seven years playing for the North London club but could well make his last appearance in Spurs’ game against Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

Some of these Spurs fans are clearly upset to see Eriksen leave the club, whereas others seem to want the 27-year-old gone as soon as possible.
What do we think?
It is a shame that some Spurs fans have turned against Eriksen in the last few months, but his performances have been nowhere near good enough this season; averaging a 6.68 rating. Hopefully, when he does leave he gets a good send-off from the fans and the club.
