Spurs fans were treated to some footage of Christian Eriksen’s first game for Inter, in which he put in a poor cross from a good free-kick position.
The video was shared on Twitter by @Harry_H22 before being reposted by LastWordonSpurs and it has been enjoyed by a lot of Spurs supporters. The 27-year-old joined Antonio Conte’s side on Tuesday and made his debut for the club in the 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia on Wednesday evening.
The Danish international was often maligned by Spurs fans for failing to beat the first man from set-pieces and looks to have continued that tradition in his first Inter display. Despite Eriksen making 305 appearances for the North London club between 2013 and 2020, it seems a lot of fans found his poor set piece for Inter quite funny.

What do we think?
It is a shame that Spurs fans are taking so much joy in Eriksen’s failures after his performances for Spurs in the last few years, but he only played 24 minutes against Fiorentina and will surely start to perform in Serie A in the near future.
