Spurs fans were frustrated to hear that Tanguy Ndombele is still in rehabilitation and will, therefore, miss Spurs’ trip to Watford on Saturday.
The club confirmed on Twitter that both he and Ben Davies are continuing the late stages of rehabilitation after their recent injuries. Ndombele was forced off with a hip injury in Spurs’ New Year’s Day defeat against Southampton and hasn’t featured for Mourinho since, with injuries continuing to dampen his first season in English football.
Spurs signed the 22-year-old from Lyon in the summer for a club-record fee but he is yet to really nail down a spot in the first-team, with his poor fitness continuing to prove an issue for both Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho. The midfielder has disappointed in his rare appearances in the Premier League; averaging a 6.84 rating in his 15 outings in the top division.
Can Ndombele be considered a flop?YesNo |

These Spurs fans are clearly frustrated that Ndombele is still out and many will be hoping to see him back to full fitness in the near future.
What do we think?
Ndombele has really struggled with fitness so far this season, to the extent where he told Mourinho he couldn’t play against Brighton on Boxing Day. The £58.5 million rated man will need to seriously improve if he wants to make it in the Premier League.
