Some Southampton fans have been discussing the club’s recent links with Fulham left-back Joe Bryan in the ongoing January transfer window.
Reports from Sky Sports on Tuesday had said that Southampton are set to rival Watford in their hunt to sign the 26-year-old full-back, with Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men looking to strengthen in the full-back positions. The report goes onto state that Bryan is high up in the Saints’ shortlist.
Southampton fans: Do you want Bryan at the club?
Why not? Decent player
He's average at best
The club has also drawn links with a move for Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker-Peters this month.
A Saints-related page called Southampton Page relayed the news about Bryan and this got the fans talking.
I actually really like this move. Solid backup to Bertrand with premier league expierence. Good price as well.

Very suspect. Championship level or a player to mould further up the pitch.

He’s decent attacking wise, but he looked Championship level with Fulham last season.
Not sure if that’s down to him or the team he was in, though.— Mark Perez (@bookMark280712) January 14, 2020
Absolutely, fantastic player

I’d be happy with that tbh

Fulham signed Bryan from Bristol City in the summer of 2018 on their return to the Premier League in the 2018-19 campaign. The Englishman arrived at the club for a fee of around £6million.
Last season, he was part of the Fulham side that endured relegation to the Championship. The left-back made 29 appearances in all competitions for them in the Premier League, scoring once and assisting once too.
This season has also seen Bryan play regularly in the left-back position for the side. He has made 28 appearances in all competitions, scoring once and picking up four assists on the way too.
What do we think?
The left-back could be a very addition to the left-back position for the Saints. The Sky Sports report has said that the club is looking to enhance its options in the full-back positions and Bryan is someone who can do a job, having already played multiple times in the Championship and in the Premier League.
