If you had offered Chris Wilder and Sheffield United a point away to Arsenal before the season started, they would have probably bitten your hand off. But, as it stands, the Blades are four points clear of the Gunners and are breathing down the neck of Manchester United in fifth place (Sky Sports). And while they may have felt that they could have beaten Mikel Arteta’s side on the weekend, a point could be vital in their Europa League spot hopes.
The side conceded midway through the match but were saved by John Fleck in the 83rd minute. The strike was brilliant and warranted the club posting a clip of strike on their Twitter page. Fans thought the strike was incredible, with one fan marvelling over the player’s techniques.
Can’t stop watching this must’ve seen it 1500 times lol ?

That foot work and how he sets himself before rifling it into the ground, technique is ridiculously good that any striker would be proud of!

What do we think?
The point should help keep Wilder’s side in touching distance of their fifth place aspirations for the time being. If they can continue to pick up vital points throughout the course of the season, it could see them playing some pretty interesting Thursday night away games next season.
