Sheffield United fans have been pleasantly surprised with the start Chris Wilder’s side have shown this season. In the club’s first season back in the Premier League they are already competing for a European spot (Sky Sports). But while the present is incredible, Sheffield United hold many fond memories of the past as well.
One memory, in particular, is a game between the Blades and Liverpool back in 2003. The club shared a post about the game on Twitter, reminding fans of the victory with a highlight reel. Many fans remembered the game like it was yesterday.

What do you value most as a Sheffield United fan?
The past
The present
Others questioned how a player like Michael Tonge never got a dream move to a side in the top eight of the Premier Leauge. They think he was certainly good enough to make the move.
How did Tonge never get picked up by a prem top 8 side like Jags did? On his day he was quality

What do we think?
Despite being unable to beat Liverpool a few weeks ago, these Sheffield United fans have fond memories of beating this team in the past. But now is the time for Wilder to help this team create memories that future generations will look back on.
