A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a report in the Sun that claims they have made an offer for Krzysztof Piatek.
The 24-year-old Polish striker who currently plays for AC Milan could be made available by the Rossoneri because of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s return to the San Siro.
Do Newcastle have any chance of signing Piatek?
Yes
No
The Sun believes that the Toon have offered to take Piatek on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy.
Piatek cost AC £30m last January, and since then, he has scored 15 goals in 38 matches, but Ibrahimovic’s return could be problematic for Piatek.
These Newcastle fans are unconvinced by the report.
Newcastle manager Steve Bruce hopes Zlatan Ibrahimovic can help him land AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek. #NUFC have money but they would rather take Piatek on loan with an option to buy. Newcastle could then let Dwight Gayle leave. [??]

What do we think?
Piatek, who is valued at £28.8m by Transfermarkt, is one of Europe’s most highly-rated strikers, and if Newcastle were to get him somehow, then it would be a major coup.
The Polish international might have to leave AC Milan because of the return of Ibrahimovic, and a move to Tyneside would give him the chance to play Premier League football.
This is an ambitious move by Newcastle, and it shows that they mean business in the transfer market.
