A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to Steve Bruce’s injury update for the Toon ahead of their clash with Norwich City.
A lot of the focus has been on transfers for Newcastle today, but they do have a big game at St James’ Park, which could move them ten points clear of the relegation zone.
Should Newcastle have bought someone to support Joelinton?
Yes, he needs help
No, he will come good
Steve Bruce confirmed that they would be without Jonjo Shelvey, Andy Carroll, Yoshinori Muto, and Dwight Gayle, while the Toon’s new signings will all make their Premier League debuts.
This latest injury update has not gone down well with these Toon fans who are worried about only having one fit striker.
In injury news, Shelvey, Carroll, Gayle & Muto all missing for Norwich tomorrow. Bentaleb, Lazaro & Rose all set to make their Newcastle debuts #NUFC

Just as well the club have addressed the striker issue in the transfer window, then. Oh, wait…

What do we think?
Newcastle have had a rather productive transfer window with the signings of Nabi Bentaleb, Valentino Lazaro, and Danny Rose; however, they currently only have Joelinton as a striker option because of the injuries to Carroll, Gayle, and Muto.
The Brazilian’s struggles in front of goal have been well documented this season, and the Toon probably should have brought in a striker to support him, but they will have to hope the other three all recover quickly to help Joelinton.
