A lot of Newcastle United fans are not happy at a report in the Telegraph that the club do not believe that they will be able to sign Jarrod Bowen in the January transfer window.
Newcastle have been asked to pay over £20 million for the 23-year-old, and it seems the Toon have moved on to Ademola Lookman, and they are likely to revisit a possible Bowen deal in the summer – if he hasn’t moved on.

What do we think?
Bowen has scored 16 goals this season. Last year he got 22. He is a goalscoring winger, and if Newcastle do not move for him in January, then another Premier League club are almost certain to snap him up.
The Toon have struggled for goals all season, but if they could get Bowen in then, that could fix that problem.
The 23-year-old is arguably one of the Championship’s best players, and he will surely be playing in the Premier League sooner rather than later.
Newcastle should move for him in this window, but if that report is right, they will wait and possibly miss out on an exciting English talent.
