A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a report in the Sun, which claims Steve Bruce is trying to broker a deal for Paco Alcacer.
The 26-year-old Spaniard could be allowed to leave Borussia Dortmund in this window after the arrival of Erling Haaland from RB Salzburg.
Do you believe Newcastle can sign Alcacer?

No
The report claims that the Toon are hoping to beat Valencia to his signature by offering Alcacer plenty of game time ahead of Euro 2020.
The report believes that Newcastle will offer to take the former Barcelona man on loan with an option to buy for £25m in the summer.
This has excited some Toon fans who would love Alcacer.

What do we think?
Alcacer, who is valued at £37.8m by Transfermarkt, has a superb goalscoring record for Dortmund, having banged in 26 goals from just 46 matches.
However, this season he has seen his game time reduced, and the Spaniard is thought to have become disillusioned with life in the Bundesliga.
If Newcastle could get him, it could be a serious coup, and he could add goals to a forward line that has managed one Premier League goal all season.
The Toon have four days left to sort out a deal for Alcacer, and it could be a season-defining move, with a striker clearly in desperate need at St James’ Park.
