What do we think?
Zabaleta will always hold a special place in the history of this football club. His exemplary attitude combined with his fantastic talent, arguably, made him one of the best defenders in the club’s history.
Not only was he a highly-effective defender but the Argentine carried a great threat when joining in with attacks. During his nine years at the Etihad, he contributed 11 goals and 28 assists making him the complete full-back.
He is, without doubt, a Manchester City legend but exactly where he ranks in the list of all-time greats remains subjective but at the very least, he’s got to be in the conversation.
