Riyad Mahrez, Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus have all been nominated for the Manchester City Player of the Month award for December.
All three candidates have shown excellent form in recent weeks, having scored vital goals and made significant individual contributions along the way, as per the club’s official website.
The club’s supporters have made their feelings clear via Twitter, so who would they like to see presented with the award?

What do we think?
Both Gabriel Jesus and Riyad Mahrez have been brilliant throughout December but Kevin De Bruyne, as pointed out by the supporters, has arguably been the best player in the division let alone just at the Etihad. The Belgian contributed three Premier League goals and four assists during the month and performed majestically versus both Arsenal and second-placed Leicester City.
De Bruyne remains key to Pep Guardiola’s plans and his irresistible form makes him one of the first names on the team sheet. The more we see of the 28-year-old, the more we struggle to understand how Jose Mourinho allowed the £135m-rated midfielder to leave Chelsea and sign for VFL Wolfsburg in a cut-price deal.
