Manchester City have reportedly entered the race to sign Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon – that’s according to Correio da Manha.
The 25-year-old was said to have been closing in on a transfer to the red half of Manchester pending an agreement between the two clubs on a fee but according to this latest report, City could be about to try and scupper Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans.
Pep Guardiola’s side already have an array of attacking-midfield talent, so how do the supporters feel regarding these latest reports.
Would you like to see City move for Bruno Fernandes?
Yes
No
Rumours are there to inflate his price. Reality is that we don’t need another player in his position

What do we think?
Fernandes has proven to be Sporting’s talisman and therefore you can understand why they are desperate to get the maximum fee possible before allowing their star-player to move on, as he’s produced 15 goals and 13 assists.
The Portuguese international is valued at £54m (via Transfermarkt.co.uk), making 16 appearances in Liga NOS this season, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists.
Given what we know, it’s highly-unlikely Manchester City will be moving to sign Fernandes so if a deal is to be completed, Old Trafford still appears to be his most likely destination.
