Liverpool fans have been talking on Twitter about the last tweet shared by Barcelona’s Sergio Busquets.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page quoting Busquets’ post which came ahead of their 4-0 defeat to the Reds in last season’s Champions League.
Is Sergio Busquets overrated?
Yes
No
This recent post pointed out that the tweet shared by the Spanish midfielder back in May last year has turned out to be the last tweet he has shared since.
The post then led to a large number of Liverpool fans replying and reacting to this news.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans replying to the post:

Busquets’ Barcelona were 3-0 up in the first leg of the semi-final, but their crushing 4-0 defeat at Anfield in the second leg destroyed their hopes of another Champions League title.
Now that it has been pointed out that Busquets’ last tweet came in preparation for the second leg defeat, a lot of Liverpool fans started to make some jokes on the situation.
So it’s Barcelona looking for a fight against Liverpool…lol, the tables have surely turned

What do we think?
To have your last tweet being positive about a match that saw your team get stupendously beaten by a rampant Liverpool side is an invitation for jokes and ridicule. It seems strange that months after the defeat Busquets still hasn’t shared any kind of post on his Twitter.
Whether that has anything to do with the defeat at Anfield is still unclear.
