Liverpool fans have been responding on Twitter to the latest images of Joel Matip.
This comes after the official Liverpool Twitter account shared a post on their page and it contained two images of the defender in a recent training session.
This post of the centre-half then led to a large number of Liverpool fans replying with their delight in seeing Matip training again.

The Cameroon international has been sidelined since October with a knee injury (per TransferMarkt). After missing 19 matches for Jurgen Klopp’s side, this latest post shows that Matip is close to a return to full match fitness.
This post made numerous Liverpool fans flock over to Twitter to share their joy with Matip’s return to training.

It comes as no surprise that so many Liverpool fans are buzzing over Matip’s return from his long injury. His imminent return to the Liverpool squad will give Klopp the option to rest other defenders like Joe Gomez or Virgil van Dijk to make way for Matip.
As Liverpool aim to secure their first-ever Premier League title, Klopp will need all of his defenders available to tackle the remaining games.
