Liverpool fans have been slating Mohamed Salah for his performance in the Reds’ midweek win against Wolves.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldRd96 shared a post on their page asking if Salah was “allergic to passing” during the 2-1 win, alluding to his greediness on the ball, as well as a couple of other fans voicing their opinions elsewhere on Twitter.
Is Mohamed Salah too greedy?
Yes
No
This post then led to a number of Liverpool fans replying with their opinions on Salah’s performance in the match.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans discussing Salah:
Honestly he’s really frustrating to watch when he gets into these modes…head down constantly

I love me some Mo Salah but seems to me like Mo is either too tentative or too bold.

In the 85 minutes the Egyptian played in the match, he earned himself a match rating of 7.54 despite having a pass success percentage of 78.1% (per WhoScored). Liverpool eventually won the match but Salah was still the target of criticism on Twitter for his passing in the game.
I like his greediness. But tonight it was frustrating.

What do we think?
It seems as though Salah’s greediness and not passing in the right moments has started to annoy some Liverpool fans. As Jurgen Klopp’s side remain top of the Premier League table, as long as they are getting results, Salah’s passing shouldn’t become that big of a problem for the fans.
