The information claimed that Forbes estimated that Liverpool’s squad value was £360 million when Jurgen Klopp took over as manager. Whereas now, Forbes‘ latest statistics claim that their squad is now worth £1.83 billion.

Do Liverpool have the best squad in the Premier League?

This post then gathered a number of replies from Liverpool fans who were delighted with Klopp’s influence on this latest statistic.

Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans reacting to the post:

Klopp took over from Brendan Rodgers as the main man at Anfield back in 2015 (per Transfermarkt). Since then, the German has secured the club’s sixth Champions League title while racking up their record points tally in the Premier League last year. Now with this latest news revealing the massive increase in Liverpool’s squad value since Klopp took charge, it has had a lot of Liverpool fans delighted on Twitter.

What do we think?

This huge jump in squad value is certainly impressive. The main factor for this big jump looks to be down to Klopp and his influence at the club. But for such a huge club with so many people pulling strings in the background at board level, it would be wrong to just put it all down to Klopp.
