These Liverpool fans are no longer keen on Aston Villa star Jack Grealish becoming a Red in the near future.

Grealish is having a solid season in the Premier League, scoring six goals and getting five assists in 20 league matches; not a bad return from a midfielder which is probably why these fans are even discussing the 24-year-old.

Empire of the Kop was the starter of the conversation when stating this on Twitter: “I like Grealish, I really do, but never in a million years does he get picked over a fit [Naby] Keita.” They re-tweeted a message from Anfield Edition who quoted comments made by Danny Murphy (as per Daily Mail) regarding the Aston Villa midfielder.

Here’s what the Liverpool fans had to say about Grealish after the tweet from Empire of the Kop:

Would you like to see Jack Grealish at Liverpool?

No

Arguably, Grealish’s best performances have come when the 24-year-old was playing as a left-sided midfielder, playing nine matches in this position, returning with five goals and two assists.

These Liverpool fans clearly aren’t keen on the Villan becoming a Liverpool player anytime soon, which could be seen as harsh, but maybe they just don’t feel he’s needed.

What Do We Think?

With Grealish scoring six goals in the Premier League so far this season, it’s no surprise that Liverpool fans are discussing the 24-year-old.

However, it would seem that these Reds fans are hardly keen on the midfielder, with some of them going as far to suggest that Grealish, who is valued at £31.5 million (as per Transfermarkt), isn’t even good enough to wear a Liverpool shirt. We don’t think this move will happen anytime soon, but we’ll have to wait and see.
