During a live Q&A session for The Athletic, James Pearce has stated he can see Liverpool’s Harry Wilson ‘getting sold in the summer‘ with the winger currently on loan at Bournemouth.

During the Q&A session, Pearce stated: “It’s going to be tough for Wilson to come back and force his way into contention. He’s a big talent but the bar is so high. I can see him getting sold in the summer.”

Wilson started his career out in the Liverpool academy, slowly making his way up the ranks until being loaned out to Crewe Alexandra.

Further loan moves were ahead for Wilson, with spells at Hull and Derby before really putting his name on the map at his current destination Bournemouth.

So far this season, the 22-year-old has played 17 Premier League matches for Bournemouth, scoring an impressive six goals but failing to register a league assist as of yet.

However, during the one FA Cup match Wilson has played, the 22-year-old managed to get two assists.

Pearce didn’t mention any potential destinations, but surely Bournemouth would be interested in the winger? However, that may all come down to the Liverpool price tag. Wilson currently has a Transfermarkt value of £22.50m, so if any potential fee was around that figure, we think Bournemouth could probably afford that.

TIF Tactics – Probably best Wilson leaves Anfield

We feel if Wilson isn’t going to get any game time at Liverpool, it’s probably best for both parties just to part ways. Wilson can go to a club that is willing to play him, which will only further his career, and Liverpool can cash in on a talented young player, that they might not be able to offer any minutes.
