Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Divock Origi for his poor display against Shrewsbury Town in the FA Cup at the weekend.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldWatch shared a post on their official page asking their followers what they thought of the Belgian’s performance in the 2-2 draw.
Was Divock Origi Liverpool's worst player at the weekend?
Yes
No
This post then led to a lot of Liverpool fans replying with their criticisms of the striker.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans slamming Origi:
He was a absolute joke, I love divock but that was disgraceful

Absolutely awful, should be bullying defenders from a lower league. In my opinion any chance he had of starting on Wednesday have gone

Very very poor, no excuse for a lack of effort

The striker, who is currently valued at £18 million according to Transfermarkt, was given a match rating of 6.2 according to WhoScored for his display in the draw against the League One side. After the match, a lot of Liverpool fans were eager to let their feelings known that they were not happy with what they saw from Origi.
Not good

That was poor, Lovern is the worst defender in the league, Matip was rusty. Origi attitude is shocking if you can only bother against the big team don’t bother putting the shirt on and leave the club

Divock Origi has had the worst game of his career today. Brace incoming

Sell, quickly

What do we think?
To put in a disappointing performance against a lower league team, it’s understandable why so many Liverpool fans are not happy with Origi at the moment. The 24-year-old will now need to wait until his next chance in the team to show that he is a much better player than he showed at the weekend.
