Liverpool fans have been discussing former Reds transfer target Nabil Fekir on Twitter.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page with an image of Fekir with the caption “wonder how different things would have turned out if he did join the club.”

The reported deal for Fekir broke down in the summer of 2018. A year later, the Frenchman joined Spanish side Real Betis for a fee of £17.78 million according to Transfermarkt. Now that the Fekir to Liverpool transfer saga has been brought up again on Twitter, a number of Liverpool fans have been sharing their thoughts on the situation.

It seems as though this failed transfer deal is still a hot topic for discussion on Merseyside, with some fans pleased the Frenchman didn’t make the move to Anfield, whereas others would still want to see Fekir at the club. Whether Liverpool would make a second attempt to sign Fekir in the future is still unknown, but you can never rule anything out in football.
