Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet scored his first goal for the club at the weekend. The Foxes were beaten at home by a spirited Southampton side and as a result, now find themselves in third position after Manchester City thrashed Aston Villa on Sunday.
Praet opened the scoring at the King Power having been handed a rare Premier League start and although the end result wasn’t what he or Brendan Rodgers would have hoped for, it was a significant day on a personal note for the Belgian international.
Should Praet start versus Burnley?
Yes
No
The midfielder took to Twitter to share his delight at scoring his first goal for the club, although he admitted it would have been nicer if they had got all three points as well. However, fans did not let that haven impact on their praise, with many flocking to the social media post to share their thoughts.
You were excellent by far the best in a Leicester shirt that day. Unlucky fella ??

What do we think?
Praet has performed to a good standard pretty much every time he has been given an opportunity this season, having achieved an average of 6.8 rating from WhoScored, and as a result, can count himself unlucky to have only started 32% of the Foxes Premier League games so far.
Signed from Sampdoria in the summer for a reported fee of £18m, the Belgian arrived with a big reputation. Given the run Rodgers’ side have been on this season, you could understand his reluctance to make wholesale changes but what is becoming abundantly clear is that we are yet to see the best of Praet in a Leicester City shirt and it seems fans are excited to see exactly what his best may bring.
