TIF Tactics – What do we know about Roberto Alvarado?

He’s a left-footed player with the versatility to play as a central attacking midfielder or on either flank. Alvarado has scored twice in the Mexican top-flight this season but is said to be a key player for Robert Siboldi’s team.

Leicester City could certainly do with somebody capable of providing them with some natural width in the midfield and sharing the creative responsibility with James Maddison.

According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, the Mexican is valued at £6.75m but it’s going to take slightly more than that to persuade the Mexican club to part company with their star player. A move for Alvarado could prove a stroke of genius if Brendan Rodgers is willing to take a gamble.
