Hull City have reportedly dropped their asking price for Jarrod Bowen with less than two days of the transfer window remaining.

The Tigers were supposedly asking for £28m for their prized asset, but now the club have lowered their demands to somewhere between £18-22M.

Should Leeds make a move for Bowen?

Yes, he would be a great addition

No, wait till the summer

No, wait till the summer

This is according to Aaron Stokes of the Daily Star.

He also insists that Leeds United are the only club to have made a firm offer for the 23-year-old.

Marcelo Bielsa confirmed that Leeds were now done in the transfer market after they sealed the signing of Jean-Kevin Augustin from RB Leipzig.

However, this is an interesting update from Stokes and shows that despite half of the Premier League looking at Bowen, the Whites are the only club who have made a move for him.

It is believed that Leeds offered £15m for Bowen, so it would be interesting to see if the Whites’ offer remains on the table.

And, it has been reported that the Whites are still keen on signing him.

What do we think?

Leeds have had a strong transfer window by replacing Jack Clarke and Eddie Nketiah with Ian Poveda, and Augustin and Bielsa seems happy with his squad

Still, if the opportunity came for them to take Bowen, then surely they couldn’t ignore that?

The 23-year-old has scored a staggering 16 goals this season and also provided five assists

He is a player who knows where the net is, and sooner or later, he should be playing Premier League football.

The news that Hull have lowered their asking price could attract the attention of Newcastle United, Leicester City, etc.

So, if the Whites want Bowen at Elland Road, then it could be now or never.
