Everton supporters have fumed that Jon Moss is set to take charge of the FA Cup third-round clash against Liverpool on Sunday.
On New Year’s Day, it was announced that Moss will be the referee for the clash between the Reds and the Toffees at Anfield this weekend (via The FA), which had Everton fans fuming.

Moss is the worst referee in the Premier League and that takes some doing when you’re up against the likes of Anthony Taylor.

Are there any good referees in the eyes of Everton supporters? No, they are all terribleYes, some are decent |
The last time the referee and the Toffees met was last month when Everton was on the wrong end of a 4-2 penalty shootout against Leicester City in the Carabao Cup quarter-final (per EFL).
With supporters not keen on the man set to be in the middle for the trip to the red half of Merseyside, they continued to fume over Moss’ appointment.
He’s not a referee .

Against Leicester, he went out his way to call over a player just so he could catch his breath! Utter shambles of a referee!

Horrendous news.

What do we think?
Of course, the fact that the Toffees lost out last time he was in charge of one of their games has obviously left a sour taste, which could be one of the reasons for the negative responses. Another one could be the fact that Everton haven’t won any of their last five matches in which he has been in charge.
