Supporters of Everton have slated Tom Davies after the midfielder’s ten-minute display in the draw against Newcastle United.
The Englishman was introduced into the action in the 83rd minute against the Toon (as per Sky Sports) and after the added time capitulation, supporters slammed Davies for his short cameo.
Because he’s not premier league standard, how do people not understand

Doesn’t matter what position he was in he gives needless fouls away all the time . He was in the middle of the park and gave a stupid foul away for their second goal . Never learns

Tom Davies. Never wear that shirt again. All down to his foul and losing the ball in the final third. Great in league one!

Should Everton be looking to sell Tom Davies during the summer rebuild?Yes, he's just not good enoughNo, he still has good potential |
This season, the 21-year-old middleman has featured in 20 games in all competitions, in which he has scored two goals and assisted zero (as per Transfermarkt).
Despite only playing just over ten minutes in the game against Steve Bruce’s outfit, Davies was on the end of a 4/10 performance rating (per Liverpool Echo), which had fans livid.
Davies face was blood red playing in divers boots and so unfit, how this fella made I’ll never know..even the championships is to good for this fella

@CBobblers1878 will tell you different . I don’t think he will ever be good enough but let’s hope he improves by about 1 million percent because that’s what he needs to make it ????

What do we think?
With a 6.49/10 average rating for the season so far (as per WhoScored), it is perhaps clear to see why Everton fans are so disappointed in the young Englishman.
It is without a doubt, though, that there is talent lurking in Davies (as per Liverpool Echo), however, it is just not put on display anywhere near regularly enough for the Toffees.
