Supporters of Everton have reacted to the impending loan departure of Kieran Dowell to Wigan Athletic until the end of the season.
With the 22-year-old’s loan spell in the midlands set to be cut short by the Rams (as per Derby Telegraph), the midfielder will be relocated to Wigan (as per Alan Nixon), which had fans believing the club should cut their losses.

Just sell him

Unfortunately, unless something changes, it looks like his talent is going to be wasted. Not really had successful loan spells. Work rate appears to be his problem.

Will Kieran Dowell ever reach the Toffees' first-team level?Yes, he'll do well at WiganNo, talent going to waste |
During his time at Phillip Cocu’s County, the Englishman made ten appearances in which he only mustered one assist (per Transfermarkt).
With his latest loan move failing, supporters were worried that the 22-year-old would never reach his full potential going through loans as he has done.
Got talent but no drive by the looks of it

Shame whats happened to him thought he couldve been special but now hes just gonna turn out like the rest of the failures

He’ll never kick on if he keeps going to championship teams. He needs a loan to Germany.

What do we think?
If the 22-year-old can not make his mark with the Rams, which has seen his season-long loan ultimately cut short, it is unlikely he is anywhere near the quality of the Toffees first team.
Should there be a repeat of his time at Pride Park whilst he is with Wigan, then there will be a decision to make over the youngster’s long-term future.
