Supporters of Everton have fumed over a club post congratulating Seamus Coleman on attaining his UEFA B coaching license.
On Wednesday evening, the Irish FA’s coach education Twitter posted congratulating the Irishman for his achievement (per @FAICoachEd), a sentiment which the Toffees shared (as per Everton), but infuriated Everton fans.
Congratulations, Seamus! ?? https://t.co/9FlkzsbkPR

Good achievement & a great servant to the club. Terrible terrible timing though @Everton Our club is in crisis, fans are revolting & players are in denial. We want to hear the plan to turn things around!! ?

I’m happy for him, but I’m sure you’re aware we’re completely disgusted in this squad at the moment

Should Everton get rid of Seamus Coleman sometime over the next two transfer windows?Yes, he's not good enoughNo, he's still a club legend |
This term, the full-back has featured in 16 games in all competitions for Carlo Ancelotti’s side (per Transfermarkt) and has an average rating for the season of 6.64/10 (per Whoscored).
Following the 1-0 defeat to a second-string Liverpool side in the FA Cup (per BBC), fury has been rife among supporters and that continued on the club post.

What do we think?
If there is one thing that is clear from Everton supporters’ tweets, it is that the blue half of Merseyside is not a very happy place at the moment.
There is no better place to do the talking than on the pitch and a positive result against Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend will go a long way.
