Fans of Everton have discussed whether or not the Toffees should look to ship Jordan Pickford out of Goodison Park.
Many fans took to Twitter to offer up their opinion on the goalkeeper, with some feeling that even though he has to improve, he should still be given time by the Merseyside club, which some supporters agreed with.
What’s the issue with his game? A defense that sits around and watches the play around them? An offense that does not move the ball forward with pace? A game plan against better teams to play D first? I don’t see Pickford as the problem.

He’s a mackem, so he’ll always go headless chicken playing the bar codes. I was at St James last season and the crowd did his head in. 2-0 up at half time, lost 3-2

Do you believe that Jordan Pickford will realise his potential or should Everton sell him?Keep him, he'll come good eventuallySell him, way too over-hyped for us |
Despite some fans sticking by the 26-year-old Englishman, Pickford has featured in all 29 games that the Toffees have played in all competitions so far this term, in which he has kept only eight clean sheets and conceded 40 goals (as per Transfermarkt).
With an average rating of 6.46/10 to add further misery to a sorry season for the former Sunderland man (as per WhoScored), some supporters had seen enough of Pickford.
Get rid as soon as possible.

He’s not mature enough

His shot to save ratio is one of the worst in the league , he doesn’t command his box , he doesn’t command his defence, poor footwork, wasteful with alot of his kicking, worries me everytime he sets up for a free kick (mahrez goal for example).

He clearly has a bit of a manic personality. This helps him be brilliant at shot stopping but lets him down when a sensible cool head is required. If he can control himself better then he could be fine but I’m not convinced he can

What do we think?
While considering his 6.46/10 average rating for the season so far (per WhoScored), it is difficult to claim anything other than it being a fact that the Englishman is having a poor season.
Having conceded 40 goals in the 21 games that he has not kept a clean sheet in also makes for sorry reading (per Transfermarkt), if he is to remain Everton’s number one, he will need to improve quickly.
