Supporters of Everton have gushed over a club post with photographs of Andre Gomes returning to light training at Finch Farm.
This morning, the Toffees posted four pictures of the Portuguese midfielder doing work in the gym (as per Everton), which led fans to gush over seeing the 26-year-old back at work.

Made up for him that he is back so quick, yes I want to see him back in the team asap but more importantly it’s great to see him back healthy and smiling again!

Incredible this. I stub my toe on the couch and I’m rolling round on the floor telling my wife to call for an ambulance. Can’t wait to see you back on the pitch Andre.

Is Andre Gomes the best midfielder that Everton currently have?Yes, he's by far the bestNo, he's not quite the best |
The former Barcelona middleman has been out of action for the Toffees since he suffered a fractured and dislocated ankle in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in early November (as per BBC).
With it first thought that Gomes would not see game time again until next season (as per The Sun), his recovery time has stunned many who were delighted to see him back in training.
This is actually incredible.

What do we think?
As many supporters have said themselves, what an incredibly quick recovery that Andre Gomes has had. It is almost unbelievably quick after the extent of the injury that he suffered.
It is certainly great to see and, hopefully, he will be back out on the Goodison Park pitch before too long.
