What do we think?
Andre Gomes arrived from the La Liga giants Barcelona in the summer of 2019 for £22.5m and has made 38 appearances for the Toffees to date. The Portuguese midfielder’s injury had left then-manager Marco Silva’s side threadbare and certainly would not have helped the ex-boss’ chances of remaining in the Goodison Park hotseat.
Of course, it is rather easy to understand why fans are so happy to see the 26-year-old stepping up his return and it surely won’t come quick enough for many of them.
