Would Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg be an upgrade on the midfielders that Everton currently have?Yes, couldn't really be much worseNo, we already have better than him |
According to the post on the live blog shared by Sky Sports (21:08, 23/01/2020), the 24-year-old Dane would reportedly cost the club £35 million to bring to Goodison Park.
However, after only one assist in 26 games, and zero goals, so far this term (as per Transfermarkt), supporters were keen for this one to remain just a rumour.
As if. What an ordinary player he is.

What do we think?
With a 6.84/10 average rating in the Premier League so far this term (as per WhoScored), it is perhaps clear to see why supporters do not want the club to spend £35 million on the Dane.
When considering that Hojbjerg also only has a market value of £13.5 million (per Transfermarkt) then it is even more understandable why the quoted fee is unthinkable.
